Since 2006, after completing a residency in psychiatry at Tbilisi Medical Academy, she has been engaged in both inpatient and outpatient clinical medical activities.

Sopio has many years of experience working with patients with various psychological/mental problems.

Since 2017,  she has been leading the inpatient service in the day center of  “Guga Sikharulidze Mental Health Research  Center” – Chief Psychiatrist.

Sopio has experience working with various ethnic minority groups living in the territory of Georgia.

Sopio provides emergency and residential care to patients with mental health problems who require evaluation and diagnosis or are unable to ambulate due to physical or psychological difficulties.

Sopio has a license as a narcologist and actively works with patients who need to manage drug addiction conditions.

Sopio is fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian.
